“Pó da estrada - escritos de João Carlos Sampaio” [Road dust – writings by João Carlos Sampaio] is a window-book, a travel diary that gathers the fragments of life and work of the journalist and film critic from Bahia, João Carlos Sampaio. The work, in partnership with Tropicasa Produções and Gris Publishing House, includes film critics, texts on travelling and soccer and on Bahia and its
existence. It is a book about cinema and other windows to the world, which has an audiobook version that can be purchased from the

VIDEO CLIPS LIBRARY
[CLIPETECA]
The “Clipeteca” [Video clips Library] is an online platform that seeks to value and, above all, to encourage the production of video clips. With a collaborative character, the website functions as an archive of video clips from artists and bands from Bahia of different epochs and music styles. Three video clips were produced by the Clipeteca team. Two of them received seven nominations of the Caymmi Music Award in 2015, winning the awards of Best Video Clip Script for “Toco Y Me Voy”, by Toco Y Me Voy; and Best Photography for “Nuvens”, by Nana.

CINEMA BY TUNA
“Cinema de Tuna” seeks to bring back the memory of the legacy of the filmmaker from Bahia, Tuna Espinheira, through the digital re-mastering of the awarded documentary “A Mulher Marginalizada” [The Marginalized Woman]; creation of an online platform with a collection of the filmmaker’s work and life; and the recording of a documentary in Tuna’s tribute.

CINEMA TALKS
CINE PAPO
A cinema session and a conversation. Curated by Marcelo Sá, at each meeting, the
audience could attend different films and debates. After each film session, based on the concerns raised on the screens, invited specialists talked about themes such as “saudade” [nostalgia], gender issues and fantasies of love and sex.
