Tinho is a boy who lives in the countryside and who is used to playing by himself, always using his creativity to create stories of imaginary and powerful superheroes. At the age of 7, the little boy faces a huge challenge: his family is moving to the big city and he needs to say goodbye to everything that he is used to. Although reluctant, Tinho will notice that it is just the first of many challenges he will face and that this adventure can lead him to a world full of life lessons and experiences.

But today is Laura and the boyfriend’s engagement party and there will be a special dinner for the family. Lúcio, the youngest son, becomes responsible for taking care of the father in this special occasion. However, this night might last an eternity to Lúcio, since the
relationship with his father is swamped with horrible memories.

The gradual rotting of the city due to the strikes and the reverberation of the situation will appear under the gaze of the street cleaner, Souza, a humble citizen who has no class consciousness, but whose power seems to grow with each new bag of garbage that accumulates in format of mountains
all over the city.

Filmed in Milagres and Monte Santo, locations of “Dragão da Maldade Contra o Santo Guerreiro” [The Dragon of Evil Against the Saint Warrior] and “Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol” [Black God, White Devil], both by Glauber Rocha, the documentary provokes the discussion around the passage of time and its implications, the Brazil/Brazilian backwoods 50 years after it was shown through the lens of the Cinema Novo.
