OBINRIN
  Ancestry, Artist Residency, and Black Feminist Performance

The project was configured as an artistic, feminist and black occupation in the Espaço Cultural da Barroquinha (BA). The objective was to give visibility to the contemporary productions of black artists and their speeches, as well as to discuss the historical erasure of black women who were relevant in the cultural and political scene of the city, promoting new networks between Brazilian Afro-diasporic artists and the Latin American territory.

FESTIVAL DRAMATURGIES OF ACCENTATED MELANIN
YEAR 5

The project, which began in 2012,  proposes to investigate the aesthetics, identity, themes and productions of contemporary black theater, having as a guide  the dramaturgical writing signed by artists of the black diaspora. In its fifth edition, in 2018, the Festival paid tribute to the 90 years of actor Mário Gusmão, a fundamental name in the performing arts in Bahia and in the Brazilian Black Theater.

CARTOGRAPHING AFFECTS

The project proposes the generation of a creative and documentary process from the listening of 10 black women by other women, enabling reflection on the effects generated by racism and machismo in their subjectivities. All conversations were recorded and photographed, generating an ethnography that provided the basis for the construction of the dramaturgical text and the other works that were generated in the project.

THE WOMAN'S LONG BODY 

Corpo à Espreita do Feminino sought to support the research that supported the Teatro Base, based on two axes: poetic-methodological (studies on the Corpo à Espreita) and thematic (the Feminine), through several continuous actions distributed to the over two years.
