DIRECTOR'S ASSISTANCE workshop

ABOUT THE COURSE

 

Target Audience:

Cis women, trans and non-binary people, who are audiovisual or communication students, professionals with some experience in production and/or direction or people interested in starting to work in the audiovisual field.

Methodology:

The workshop aims to provide basic content about the work dynamics, tools and functions of an assistant director in all stages of an audiovisual project, whether fiction or documentary, short, feature, series or video clip. Classes are based on the practical experience of the lecturer, with explanation, presentation of document models and a proposal for a practical activity of technical analysis and/or filming plan of a short or scene script, brought by the participant or offered by the lecturer.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Graduated in Journalism from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), she has been working as a cultural producer since 2010. She is the creator and director of the documentary series “Donas do Baba” (@donasdobaba), about women and football. As assistant director, he worked on several Bahian productions, such as music videos, short and feature films and documentaries, and documentary series for TV.
